VOA Food & Frames Drive

This year, VOA Gives Back returns with two ways to make an impact: our FOOD DRIVE benefiting Feed More and our FRAMES DRIVE benefiting Lions Clubs.

FRAMES DRIVE — BRING YOUR GLASSES. REPRESENT YOUR SOCIETY.

Clean out the optical drawers, closets and forgotten boxes. Ask your staff, patients, friends and family to help. Bring your donated eyeglasses to the Fall Conference, where they will be collected for Lions Clubs eyeglass recycling.

And this year, there are bragging rights on the line.

Every pair of glasses you donate counts toward your local optometric society’s total. Which VOA society can collect the most? Start collecting now and bring your society’s haul to The Greenbrier.

FOOD DRIVE — HELP STOCK THE SHELVES FOR FEED MORE.

We are also collecting shelf-stable, nonperishable food to benefit Feed More and help nourish individuals and families across Central Virginia. High-need items include canned proteins, nut butters, canned fruits and vegetables, beans, lentils, soups, tomato products, pasta, rice, whole grains, cereal, healthy snacks, oils, condiments and spices. Lower-salt and lower-sugar options are especially helpful. Please avoid glass containers.
